Job summary

DXC Technology seeks a Cloud Compute SME Lead to oversee Level 2 support operations across multi-data center infrastructure. You will lead incident resolution, provisioning, and ensure stability of core IT services.

Focus on driving operational excellence across OS, databases, storage, virtualization, networking, backup, and security, and guide hybrid cloud initiatives including migrations to Azure, GCP, OCI and OpenShift environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading infrastructure operations teams.
• Hands-on expertise with OS platforms, storage, databases, virtualization, OpenShift, and networking.
• Experience with public cloud platforms and hybrid cloud migrations.
• Knowledge of backup, monitoring, and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team that maintains and operates infrastructure components across multiple data centers.
• Manage incident and problem management, delivering timely resolution and root cause analysis.
• Oversee provisioning and service fulfillment for infrastructure resources (OS, database, storage, backup, virtualization, network, security).
• Review infrastructure projects for readiness and compliance.
• Provide SME guidance for cloud migration and hybrid integration across Azure, GCP, OCI, and OpenShift.
• Drive automation and standardization of operational tasks with Ansible and scripting.
• Support disaster recovery planning and execution for infrastructure layers.
• Develop the team through training and performance management.
