Job summary
DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Solution Architect - Infrastructure to design and govern the compute, storage, cloud, data center and edge foundations for airport systems. You will ensure resilient, secure, scalable infrastructure supporting a 24/7 operational environment and coordinate across cloud, on-premise and edge environments.
The role requires hands-on cloud and data center experience, strong collaboration skills, and a track record in aviation or other critical-infrastructure
Qualifications
- Solid experience in infrastructure and cloud architecture on complex programs.
- Hands-on with Azure, AWS and Google Cloud; virtualization and data center expertise.
- Designing for high availability, backup and disaster recovery.
- Understanding of infrastructure security and automation (IaC).
- Experience in aviation, transport or 24/7 critical infrastructure environments.
Responsibilities
- Design compute, storage, cloud, data center and edge infrastructure for airport systems.
- Produce infrastructure design documents, patterns and decision records.
- Design for high availability, redundancy, performance, backup and DR.
- Embed security, monitoring, automation and manageability into infrastructure.
- Collaborate with delivery teams and vendors across domains.
