Job summary

Zahid Group in Dammam is seeking a Civil Maintenance Supervisor to lead site civil maintenance, manage manpower, and coordinate with internal teams and contractors to deliver safe, compliant projects on time. Qualifications

• 3-5 years supervising civil maintenance or construction work
• Experience in facilities, industrial sites, or commercial buildings
• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Building Maintenance, or related field; bachelor’s degree is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Plan daily civil works, prioritize tasks, allocate manpower, and monitor completion against approved schedules.
• Supervise civil technicians, masons, carpenters, painters, helpers, and subcontractors, as applicable.
• Inspect buildings and facilities for defects involving concrete, blockwork, plaster, tiles, ceilings, doors, roofing, waterproofing, drainage, and external works.
• Ensure work is carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, permits, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
• Prepare accurate material requests, quantity estimates, site measurements, work records, and progress updates.
• Coordinate access, shutdowns, permits, and work sequencing with operations, safety, security, procurement, and client representatives.
• Conduct pre-work and post-work inspections, close snags, and verify that completed work is safe, clean, and fit for handover.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, attendance, tools, materials, and housekeeping, and promptly report non-compliance.
• Support emergency response for water leaks, structural damage, unsafe conditions, and other urgent civil issues.
• Maintain records including checklists, photographs, daily reports, inspection requests, material records, and completion documents.
• Promote safe work practices, toolbox talks, proper use of personal protective equipment, and stop-work action when an unsafe condition exists.
• Coach team members, communicate expectations clearly, and elevate resource, quality, commercial, or schedule risks early.
