Job summary

Responsibilities include contract finalization, risk identification, progress reporting, and cross-discipline coordination to ensure seamless integration with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation

Qualifications

• Formal civil engineering competence and understanding of infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts post-award and optimize timelines and costs.
• Strong project management and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage in post-award negotiations with contractors to optimize costs, timelines, and scope without compromising quality.
• Review and finalize contracts, ensuring alignment with project objectives, legal requirements, and company policies.
• Assess contractor capabilities, past performance, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Establish clear communication channels with contractors and resolve any disputes or deviations.
• Oversee the progress of civil works to ensure timely execution per approved plans and schedules.
• Conduct regular site visits and coordinate with project teams to track milestones, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Provide periodic progress reports to senior management, highlighting key risks and mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure smooth integration of civil activities with overall project execution.
• Monitor project budgets and control costs to prevent overruns.
• Identify and address potential risks that may impact project timelines and financials.
