Parsons is seeking a Civil Inspector to join our site-based supervision team on the Green Riyadh Project. You will inspect irrigation installations, monitor quality, and ensure adherence to drawings, specs, and industry standards while coordinating with multiple disciplines on active construction.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 5-7+ years of related landscape-focused experience, with emphasis on safety and timely reporting of site activity.

• Experience inspecting irrigation installations and ensuring compliance with drawings and specs.
• Ability to read and review shop drawings and coordinate with disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) and respond promptly.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings and specs.
• Report nonconforming work and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Monitor daily site quality and progress.
• Maintain daily activity records with progress photos.
• Prepare surveillance reports and NCRs when needed.
• Coordinate between disciplines and provide on-site technical input.
• Inspect works for compliance with methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections and on-site work.
• Assist in measuring work when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Civil Inspector to join our site-based construction supervision team on the prestigious Green Riyadh Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting irrigation installation works, monitoring quality and compliance, supporting construction activities, and ensuring that all irrigation systems are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards

What You'll Be Doing

• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action promptly.
• Assist in reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements, and international best practices.
• Report any works carried out by contractors found to not be in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitor the quality of executed works and the progress on site daily.
• Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
• Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at the site and nonconformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Check and ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline-related issues on-site that may arise.
• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
• Assist in or measure work done when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

Must have a Degree in Civil Engineering with 5-7 plus years of related experience in direct landscape work.
