Job summary

PPOAR is seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our Riyadh team. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of experience, strong knowledge of construction techniques, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering field.
• Proven knowledge of construction techniques, materials properties and standards.
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD software applications.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem solving skills with critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans for civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, drainage systems etc.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise contractors during project execution.
• Interpret survey reports and design drawings.
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure project compliance with safety standards.
• Analyze data from tests performed on soil composition, asphalt etc.
• Prepare reports on project updates or other related documents
