Job summary

Holy Rock and Green Flag International EngineeringPvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to review design calculations and IFC drawings for transmission and substation projects in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, ACI, AISC and Eurocodes, and prepare SOWs, technical specs, and cost estimates.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in civil/structural engineering, proficiency in SAFE or SAP2000, and Saudi/GCC project exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree an advantage).
• Minimum 12 years of relevant civil and structural engineering experience.
• Proven experience in design review and SOW preparation for transmission and substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of National Grid standards, Saudi Building Code, ACI, AISC, ASCE, and Eurocodes.
• Proficiency in SAFE, SAP2000, or equivalent software.
• Candidates with relevant experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC power transmission and substation projects are preferred.
• Arab nationals who are legally eligible to work in Saudi Arabia may apply.
• Candidates must demonstrate strong technical review, documentation, and problem-solving skill.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify civil and structural design calculations, drawings, and technical documents for transmission and substation projects.
• Review Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings, technical specifications, and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, National Grid requirements, ACI, AISC, ASCE, and Eurocodes.
• Review RCC, structural steel, foundations, and geotechnical design requirements.
• Identify design discrepancies, technical risks, and non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed Scope of Work documents defining project scope, deliverables, responsibilities, assumptions, exclusions, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop technical specifications, tender documents, and RFPs.
• Ensure SOW documents comply with National Grid specifications, Saudi codes, and international standards.
• Prepare and review quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers and design teams to establish clear technical requirements.

• Prepare detailed Scope of Work documents defining project scope deliverables responsibilities assumptions exclusions and acceptance criteria
• Develop technical specifications tender documents and Requests for Proposals RFPs
• Ensure SOW documents comply with National Grid specifications Saudi codes and applicable international standards
• Prepare and review quantity take-offs Bills of Quantities BOQs and cost estimates
