Job summary

Taj HR is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities at project sites in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The role demands ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs, and schedules while upholding quality and safety standards.

You will coordinate with engineers, managers, subcontractors, and teams to resolve site issues, monitor progress, and prepare regular reports. A Civil Engineering degree and 3+ years of supervision experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising construction or building projects.
• Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site operations, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to supervise workers and subcontractors and organize daily site activities.
• Understanding of construction quality standards and occupational health and safety procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and communicate project updates in English.
• Willingness to work on-site in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Monitor workers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
• Track project progress and ensure compliance with the construction schedule.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and technical teams to resolve site-related issues.
• Inspect construction materials and completed works to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the construction site.
• Monitor site requirements for materials, equipment, and tools, and coordinate their availability when needed.
• Prepare daily and periodic site progress reports, highlighting completed activities, challenges, and delays.
• Follow up on technical observations, corrective actions, and outstanding site issues.
• Maintain proper site organization, housekeeping, and material storage.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and report construction progress and operational challenges to the project management team.
