Job summary

Confidential Government in Riyadh is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, governance, and multi-entity structures. You will steer budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, and partner with the Board on financial oversight.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of progressive finance leadership, CPA/CMA/ACCA preferred, and deep experience in sports/entertainment venue sectors or complex facilities management, with strong stakeholder management in Saudi

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior role (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting; Master's/MBA preferred; CPA/CMA/ACCA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall financial strategy, leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Commercial Finance: Oversee the financial performance of all venues and projects, driving profitability, margin improvement, and cash generation.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure full accuracy of financial statements and compliance with SOCPA/IFRS, Zakat, VAT, and local regulations.
• Treasury & Cash Flow: Manage liquidity, working capital, banking relationships, and financial risks.
• Finance Transformation: Lead ERP implementations, reporting automation, and process standardization to support rapid growth.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary financial liaison with joint venture partners, shareholders, and the Board of Directors.
• Team Building: Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team across corporate and operational levels.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 15+ years of progressive financial leadership, including at least 5 years in a senior role (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting (Master's/MBA is preferred). Professional qualifications like CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
• Industry Expertise: Proven track record in the sports, entertainment, venues, or facilities management sectors is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Deep knowledge of Saudi financial regulations, joint venture corporate structures, and excellent executive stakeholder management.
