Job description

Our client is a leading Holding Company with diverse businesses across FMCG, Manufacturing, Industrial, Hospitality, and other industries. With a strong reputation and good expansion plans for 2014.

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join as the Group Finance Director/ CFO based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Reporting to: CEO

JOB OVERVIEW
  • Set the group’s financial strategy including financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage the treasury, financial control, and risk management functions to support business objectives.
  • Ensure adequate liquidity, low-cost financing, and appropriate hedging.
  • Lead bank relationships and secure funding from private and public sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and deploy the financial strategy and set corporate financial policies.
  • Ensure finance functions operate according to adopted standards.
  • Recommend and manage the group’s capital structure and balance sheet.
  • Oversee cash management and risk management aligned with shareholder risk appetite.
  • Establish credit risk policies and oversee financial planning, reports, and performance analysis.
  • Maintain relationships with banks and capital sources to minimize borrowing costs.
  • Lead loan negotiations and funding applications with public and private entities.
  • Maintain an effective financial management information system.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Open to Arabic & Western applicants.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or financial engineering, with CA, CFA, or CPA designation.
  • 15+ years of experience, including at least 7 years in a senior finance management role within an investment holding company.
  • Current or recent experience in KSA with strong contacts with local banks and financing partners.
  • Experience with semi-government bodies related to investments and acquisitions.
  • Deep understanding of financing needs of holding companies/groups.
  • Proven CFO experience overseeing multiple companies or a holding group.
  • Extensive experience in acquisitions, mergers, and capital raising in KSA.
  • Knowledge of capital structures and financial strategies.
