Job summary

Zahid Industries in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Welder to join our fabrication team. You will interpret drawings, set up and weld components using MIG and TIG techniques, and inspect work for quality.

The role requires reading blueprints and following work instructions to ensure precision and efficiency on the shop floor. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of welding experience, is able to read drawings, and adheres to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or vocational school.
• Certified as a welder.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• Ability to read, understand and execute based on drawings and work instructions.
• Knowledge of various welding techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute welding jobs on small and large components as per drawing and work instructions.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Maintain welding equipment to ensure safety and compliance with rules and regulations.
• Analyze failures and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Minimize rework and nonconformance.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
