Job summary

Axceltrees seeks a skilled Category Manager to lead buying, assortment and supplier negotiations across key categories in Saudi Arabia. You will develop category strategies, select brands and products, and negotiate terms to drive sales and profitability.

You will manage large SKU assortments, apply pricing and promotional plans, and work closely with Demand Planning to align commercial plans with inventory needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of buying, category management or commercial experience.
• Experience in E-commerce, marketplace, retail, beauty, health & wellness, pharmacy, FMCG or consumer goods.
• Proven experience managing suppliers and negotiating commercial terms.
• Strong understanding of category management, pricing, margin and promotional planning.
• Experience managing large SKU assortments.
• Strong analytical and numerical capability.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using ERP, BI, merchandising and/or E-commerce systems.
• Knowledge of the Saudi retail and e-commerce market is highly desirable.
• Existing supplier and brand relationships within relevant categories would be advantageous.
• Responsible for developing category strategy, selecting brands and products, negotiating with suppliers, managing commercial terms and driving category sales and profitability.
