Job summary

MBRF is seeking a dedicated Calibration Technician in Jeddah to perform instrument calibration per plan, conduct preventive maintenance, and maintain accurate calibration records. The role requires hands-on instrumentation experience within food-related industries and familiarity with SAP PM.

You will collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Technical/vocational qualification in Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation Technology or related technical field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in instrumentation and calibration, preferably in Food/FMCG/Pharma.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and SAP PM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate factory instruments per plan and specs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of test equipment.
• Analyze calibration data and address deviations.
• Maintain calibration records, certificates and reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, audits, and standards.
• Coordinate with external calibration firms for services and certificates.

What will you be doing at MBRF?

• Perform calibration activities for factory instruments and equipment in line with the approved calibration plan, procedures and technical specifications
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Analyze and interpret calibration data, identify deviations and take appropriate actions to complete calibration activities
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of instruments, calibration records, reports and certificates
• Ensure calibration activities and documentation comply with internal procedures, audit requirements and applicable standards
• Coordinate with external calibration companies and suppliers for calibration services, documentation and certificates when required
• Work closely with Maintenance and Production teams to support equipment reliability and operational requirements
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE, food safety and company standards and procedures

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Technical/vocational qualification in Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation Technology or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in instrumentation and calibration, preferably within the Food, FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry
• Practical knowledge of instrument calibration, test equipment, calibration procedures and related documentation
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical data and maintain accurate calibration records and certificates
• Basic knowledge of food manufacturing and food safety requirements; familiarity with SAP PM is preferred
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah, with flexibility to commute to the factory location
