Job summary

El Seif for Operation and Maintenance Co. ESOM is seeking a CAFM Operator to manage data in CAFM/CMMS systems and support facility management operations. The role requires precise data entry, asset records, and generating maintenance work orders, with strong office skills and English proficiency.

Your responsibilities include inputting asset data, maintaining records, producing periodic client reports, and coordinating with technicians to close tasks in the system.

Qualifications

• Must have technical diploma and 2–3 years relevant field experience.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of CAFM/CMMS and FM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate input for assets into CAFM/CMMS and ensure data accuracy.
• Enter, store and maintain asset data.
• Input asset data and planned maintenance into database.
• Provide Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) work orders per program.
• Raise Reactive Maintenance (RM) work orders for technical staff.
• Query data records for accuracy and legibility.
• Auto generate reporting data on PPM and RM.
• Generate periodic client reports.
• Document materials movement using the computer system.
• Communicate status of work orders to customers and staff.
• Update and close tasks in the system.

Main Purpose of the Job

To perform clerical duties operating the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) Software or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and create and maintain accurate data records for facilities.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

• To create accurate input for assets into the CAFM/CMMS for data records and reports (manual & computerized in accordance with Company procedures.
• To ensure that asset data is correctly entered, stored and maintained.
• Input asset data and planned maintenance into database program.
• To provide Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) work orders, in accordance with pre-program of work.
• To raise Reactive Maintenance (RM) work orders for technical staff.
• To interrogate data records (manual & computerized) as directed for accuracy, legibility or damage.
• To auto generate reporting data on PPM and RM carried out to ascertain status.
• To generate periodic reports accurately and efficiently for client reporting.
• To sort, classify, file and retrieve information, according to content, purpose, user criteria, or numerical order in accordance with company filing system.
• To document materials movement, using computer system.
• To communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals by Help Desk action and to impart information on status of work orders.
• To complete work schedules and follow up with the concerned personnel to close the completed task in the system.
• To update and close the completed task in the system

Minimum qualifications / educational levels required for this position

• Technical diploma.
• Proficient in English language both written and oral.
• Proficient in Office Computer Applications, Word, Excel, Access, Power-point
• 2 to 3 years experience in relevant field.
