Job summary

Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives in Saudi Arabia seeks a Business Development Manager to expand Drives/VFD solutions, identify new opportunities, and build lasting customer relationships to drive growth and energy efficiency.

You will work with sales, marketing and applications teams, engaging EPCs, consultants, system integrators, and end users across heavy industries, oil & gas, petrochemicals, and marine electrification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years in business development, sales, or customer-facing role in Drives/VFD.
• Strong knowledge of variable frequency drives and industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow Danfoss Drives in Saudi Arabia across assigned verticals (Heavy industries, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Marine & Electrification).
• Build and strengthen relationships with end users, EPCs, consultants, system integrators, and channel partners to identify new opportunities and services from existing install-base.
• Promote Danfoss drive solutions with technical and commercial support to improve operation and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and application teams to develop customer-focused solutions and win strategic projects.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and project pipelines to identify opportunities and support growth.

The Impact You'll Make

At Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives, you will help industries across Saudi Arabia improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and accelerate their sustainability goals through innovative drive solutions. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our Drives business by identifying new opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and positioning Danfoss as the preferred partner for variable frequency drive solutions. Your work will directly contribute to business growth and customer success in one of the region's most important industrial markets. This role is ideal for a commercially minded Electrical Engineer who combines technical expertise with a passion for developing business opportunities and creating long-term customer value.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and execute business development strategies that drive growth and increase market share for Danfoss Drives in Saudi Arabia within his/her assigned verticals (Heavy industries, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals and Marine & Electrification).
• Build and strengthen relationships with end users, EPCs, consultants, system integrators, and channel partners to identify new business opportunities, and services business from existing install-base.
• Promote Danfoss drive solutions by providing technical and commercial support that helps customers improve operational performance and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and application teams to develop customer-focused solutions and win strategic projects.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and project pipelines to identify opportunities and support sustainable business growth.

What We're Looking For

• Saudi National.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a customer-facing commercial role within the Drives/VFD industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of variable frequency drives and industrial automation applications.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage customers across multiple industries.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
