Job summary

OPTIMA, Allied Practice of KEO, is recruiting for Tamheer opportunities in our Riyadh office. We seek a Business Administration/Engineering graduate to join the team and receive training across the Business Development lifecycle.

You will learn to research markets, identify opportunities, qualify leads, and support client engagement while developing professional communication and presentation skills in a structured internship program.

Qualifications

• Must be a Saudi national.
• For Co-op and Internship placements, applicants must be graduates or have been unemployed for more than 6 months.
• Must reside in Riyadh and be available to work in Riyadh for the 4-month program.
• Strong communication skills in English are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the Business Development function, its objectives, and its role within the organization.
• Build knowledge of OPTIMA's business, products/services, target customers, and market segments through research.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to identify opportunities and present findings.
• Research potential customers and identify relevant prospects based on criteria.
• Support lead qualification by evaluating and prioritizing prospects under guidance.
• Learn and support key stages of the Business Development process from opportunity to follow-up and relationship development.
• Develop professional communication skills through emails, meeting points, and role-play exercises.
• Practice client engagement techniques, including understanding customer needs and communicating value propositions.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing presentations, company profiles, and market research summaries.
• Maintain organized records of research, follow-ups, and opportunities.
• Present research findings, insights, and BD exercises with feedback.

Responsibilities

• We are recruiting for our Tamheer opportunities at our Riyadh office and are looking for a Business Administration/ Engineering discipline graduate to join Optima one of KEO's allies, where they will receive training in:


• Developing an understanding of the Business Development function, its objectives, and its role within the organization.


• Building knowledge of the company’s business, products/services, target customers, and relevant market segments through research and structured learning.


• Conducting market, industry, and competitor research to identify potential business opportunities and present key findings.


• Researching potential customers and identifying relevant prospects based on agreed criteria.


• Supporting lead qualification by evaluating and prioritizing prospects under guidance.


• Learning and supporting the key stages of the Business Development process, from opportunity identification to follow-up and relationship development.


• Developing professional communication skills through drafting emails, preparing meeting points, and participating in role-play exercises.


• Practicing client engagement techniques, including understanding customer needs, communicating value propositions, and building professional relationships.


• Supporting the preparation and review of presentations, company profiles, research summaries, and other Business Development materials.


• Maintaining organized records of research, follow-up actions, and potential business opportunities.


• Preparing and presenting research findings, market insights, and Business Development exercises while incorporating feedback.


• Participating in regular mentoring and performance review sessions to assess progress, identify development areas, and establish next steps.
