Job summary

Dafater is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to work with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into ERP specifications. You will participate in discovery, solution design, implementation, testing, and adoption, ensuring requirements are clear, traceable, and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in business analysis with ERP implementations.
• Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping, fit-gap analysis and documentation.
• Experience across ERP domains: finance, procurement, sales, inventory, operations.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, measurable requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting UAT, traceability, and assessing change impacts.
• Professional communication and documentation in Arabic and English.
• Certification such as CBAP, CCBA or ERP-related would be an advantage.

• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend configurations or changes.
• Produce business requirements, functional specs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize requirements with stakeholders and maintain traceability from needs to delivery.
• Collaborate with consultants, developers, and integration teams to clarify requirements.
• Define requirements for reports, data migration, integrations, and access permissions.
• Prepare UAT scenarios and support testing, coordinating defect resolution.
• Assess impact of changes and communicate implications to project leadership.
• Support training materials, go-live readiness, and handover to customer success.

Job Summary

The Business Analyst will work with clients and internal teams to understand business needs, analyze processes, and translate requirements into clear, actionable specifications for ERP solutions.

The role will connect business stakeholders with functional and technical teams throughout discovery, solution design, implementation, testing, and adoption. A key focus will be ensuring that proposed solutions address agreed business objectives and that requirements remain clear, traceable, and validated throughout delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to identify business objectives, operational challenges, and requirements.
• Document current processes and design improved future processes with clear workflows, business rules, roles, and controls.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis against ERP capabilities and recommend configuration, process changes, or customization where appropriate.
• Produce business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria appropriate to the delivery approach.
• Prioritize requirements with stakeholders, obtain approvals, and maintain traceability from business needs through implementation and testing.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and integration teams to clarify requirements and validate proposed solutions.
• Define business requirements for reports, data migration, integrations, and access permissions, coordinating with relevant specialists.
• Prepare user acceptance testing scenarios, support business users during testing, and coordinate defect clarification and resolution.
• Assess the impact of requirement changes and communicate implications to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
• Support training materials, process documentation, go-live readiness, and handover to Customer Success and support teams.

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, including substantial hands-on experience supporting ERP implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and functional documentation.
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes across relevant ERP areas, such as finance, procurement, sales, inventory, and operations.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting user acceptance testing, managing requirements traceability, and assessing change impacts.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams.
• Professional communication and documentation skills in Arabic and English.
• CBAP, CCBA, or relevant ERP certification would be an advantage.
