Job summary

KAUST in Saudi Arabia seeks a Maintenance Engineer - Biomedical to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical equipment across facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and assist with installation and commissioning of new devices, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include monitoring service providers, reviewing work orders, conducting root cause analyses, and updating asset data in CMMS (SAP or Maximo).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Biomedical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and operations.
• Proficiency in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance methods.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring effective execution and quality of maintenance activities.
• Supporting preventive and corrective operations.
• Monitoring daily maintenance activities of service providers.
• Reviewing work orders and reports.
• Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support.
• Ensuring full compliance with contractual and safety regulations (e.g., JCI, CBAHI/SBAHI, SFDA).
• Conducting audits and performance evaluations.
• Leading root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Maintaining and updating asset data in CMMS such as SAP or Maximo.
• Overseeing biomedical equipment maintenance, calibration, testing, and performance verification.
