Job summary

Acorn Strategy is seeking a Social Media & Motion Designer for remote work aligned to KSA hours. You will design and animate social content across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, ensuring brand integrity and multilingual delivery in Arabic and English.

The role demands 6–8+ years of experience in social/media design, expert After Effects/Premiere (or DaVinci Resolve), and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite plus Figma.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of experience in social media design, motion design, brand design, or in‑house/agency creative roles.
• Arabic and English bilingual design capability is mandatory, including Arabic typography, RTL layout, bilingual lock-ups, and bilingual subtitling.
• Capability to operate independently without guidance from a CD/AD, with ownership from concept through delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, for motion design and editing.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and working proficiency in Figma.
• Demonstrable command of short‑form vertical video craft, including pacing and legibility on muted autoplay.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube creative specs.
• Editorial and long‑form design capability for web articles and data visualization.
• Experience managing a high‑volume content calendar with concurrent briefs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work Riyadh hours (Sun–Thu, 9–6) with limited time-zone differences.

Responsibilities

• Short-form video and motion design for social feeds (reels, shorts, in-feed video).
• Motion graphics: typography, data infographics, logo/endframe animation, captions.
• Video editing with audio balance and licensed music selection.
• Create captions/subtitles in Arabic and English for readability on mute.
• Adapt content across aspect ratios and platforms while preserving composition.
• Maintain reusable templates and asset libraries.
