Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH in Dammam is seeking a Process Engineer to monitor and optimize the baggage handling system (BHS) performance and related processes at Dammam Airport. You will analyze data to identify bottlenecks, report on KPIs, and drive practical improvements with cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on experience in Six Sigma/DMAIC projects, strong data analysis skills, and proficiency with BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant.
• At least three years leading Six Sigma or DMAIC projects.
• At least two years of experience in process engineering, business analysis, data analysis, or performance reporting.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Splunk.
• Good understanding of databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor key operational performance indicators.
• Prepare clear performance reports and dashboards.
• Analyze system data to identify bottlenecks, recurring issues, and root causes.
• Recommend and implement improvements to systems, processes, and maintenance activities.
• Share findings and improvement actions with internal teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Develop practical solutions to improve productivity, reliability, and service quality.
• Prepare process documents, procedures, and operating instructions.
• Allocate improvement opportunities. Track improvement actions and measure their results.
• Support the operations manager with valuable insights about system and stakeholder performance.
• Support and coach system operators and stakeholders on system SOPs and best practices.
