Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. in Dammam is seeking a Process Engineer to monitor and analyze the baggage handling system, operational processes, and maintenance activities at the airport. You will use data to identify problems, prepare reports and dashboards, and support practical improvements.

The role requires knowledge of BHS, experience with Six Sigma DMAIC projects, and proficiency in BI tools to deliver clear insights and drive performance enhancements within the operations team.

Qualifications

• Adequate knowledge and experience in BHS.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant.
• 3+ years of experience leading Six Sigma or DMAIC improvement projects.
• 2+ years of experience in process engineering, business analysis, data analysis, or performance reporting.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Splunk.
• Good understanding of databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor key operational performance indicators.
• Prepare clear performance reports and dashboards.
• Analyze system data to identify bottlenecks, recurring issues, and root causes.
• Recommend and implement improvements to systems, processes, and maintenance activities.
• Share findings and improvement actions with internal teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Develop practical solutions to improve productivity, reliability, and service quality.
• Prepare process documents, procedures, and operating instructions.
• Allocate improvement opportunities.
• Track improvement actions and measure their results.
• Support the operations manager with valuable insights about system and stakeholder performance.
• Support and coach system operators and stakeholders on system SOPs and best practices.
