We are a key delivery partner on one of Saudi Arabia’s flagship giga projects and a cornerstone of Vision 2030, helping to create world-class destinations that redefine entertainment, culture, and visitor experiences.

About The Opportunity

The AVL Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Audio, Visual and Lighting (AVL) systems across major entertainment, cultural, and mixed-use developments. This role will lead the planning, coordination, design management, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and handover of complex AVL packages, ensuring alignment with project objectives, technical requirements, programme milestones, budget constraints, and operational needs.

Acting as the primary point of contact for all AVL-related matters, the AVL Project Manager will manage consultants, contractors, suppliers, and specialist engineers throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires a strong combination of technical AVL expertise, project management capability, stakeholder management skills, and construction delivery experience to successfully deliver world-class entertainment and immersive technology environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with project leadership, design teams, construction teams, contractors, operators, and external stakeholders to ensure AVL systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead the full lifecycle delivery of AVL packages from design development through procurement, installation, commissioning, operational readiness, and final handover.
  • Manage AVL package scope, programme, budget, risk, quality, and resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor AVL delivery programmes, ensuring alignment with overall project milestones and construction schedules.
  • Act as the primary technical authority and client representative for all AVL-related matters across the project.
  • Manage and coordinate AVL design consultants, installation contractors, specialist suppliers, and system integrators.
  • Review and oversee AVL design deliverables, technical submittals, shop drawings, equipment schedules, system schematics, and specifications.
  • Coordinate AVL systems with architectural, structural, MEP, IT, networking, BMS, and show control disciplines to ensure seamless integration across all interfaces.
  • Identify design, construction, commissioning, and operational risks, proactively developing mitigation strategies and driving issue resolution.
  • Oversee AVL installation activities on site, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, quality standards, project specifications, and programme requirements.
  • Monitor contractor performance, installation progress, workforce productivity, and resource allocation, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Coordinate AVL activities with the wider construction team to manage interfaces and minimise programme impacts.
  • Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), integrated systems testing, commissioning activities, and operational readiness reviews.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of operation and maintenance manuals, as-built documentation, training materials, and handover records.
  • Manage project documentation including submittal logs, design registers, RFIs, quality records, commissioning documentation, risk registers, and project trackers.
  • Ensure compliance with project quality standards through inspections, testing programmes, defect management, snagging, and close-out activities.
  • Champion a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture, ensuring compliance with site procedures, permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
  • Prepare and present programme updates, risk reports, technical reviews, and project progress reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with consultants, contractors, operators, vendors, and project teams to support successful project outcomes.
  • Support the development of team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and technical leadership.
Here’s what you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Audio Engineering, Acoustics, Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in AVL systems delivery, design, integration, installation, or project management within large-scale construction, entertainment, hospitality, cultural, or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering AVL packages from design development through commissioning and handover on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of professional audio systems, video and display systems, LED technology, projection systems, architectural and theatrical lighting, media servers, show control systems, networking, and low-voltage infrastructure.
  • Proven experience managing AVL consultants, contractors, suppliers, and commissioning teams across multiple concurrent workstreams.

  • Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, system schematics, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, equipment schedules, and commissioning documentation.

  • Knowledge of construction delivery processes and coordination requirements across architectural, structural, MEP, IT, and specialist systems packages.
  • Experience using project management and document control platforms such as Aconex, Procore, or similar systems.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM coordination processes, and Microsoft Office applications.
