Job summary

Partner Company in Saudi Arabia seeks a Solutions Architect for Automotive to help customers adopt open-source tech and advance software-defined vehicles. You will blend automotive know-how with Linux, embedded systems, and software development to resolve complex challenges.

The role encompasses presales, solution design, demos, PoCs, and selective project delivery across cloud, Kubernetes, security, and embedded tech domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Extensive Linux/Embedded Linux experience (Debian/Ubuntu preferred).
• Strong programming/scripting in Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
• English plus local language proficiency; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with automotive customers during presales to understand needs and explain technologies.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to promote open-source platforms for automotive use cases.
• Collaborate with cloud, Kubernetes, security, safety, and embedded teams to craft solutions.
• Participate in Embedded Linux projects, including demos, prototypes, and PoCs.
• Translate requirements into actionable insights for engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Develop reusable technical solutions addressing automotive market opportunities.
• Support software-defined vehicle initiatives integrating cloud technologies into embedded environments.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and business audiences.
• Balance multiple engagements with delivery, quality, and business outcomes.
