Job summary

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a CAD Draftsman to create technical drawings and 2D/3D layouts using AutoCAD and REVIT under the supervision of the engineering design team in Medina.

The role will generate detailed drawings from engineering directions, reflect field survey data, and support BIM coordination while ensuring accuracy, proper scale, and compliance with relevant standards. Strong communication in English is required; Arabic skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Certificate in AutoCAD Drafting or an engineering degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and technical drawing production.
• Strong proficiency in Revit for 3D modeling, layouts, and BIM-related deliverables.
• Ability to understand engineering terminology, abbreviations, drawings, and topographical/field survey information.
• English language proficiency is mandatory, both written and spoken (Arabic is a PLUS)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Knowledge of additional tools as GIS is a plus
• Effective coordination abilities

Responsibilities

Job description

The CAD Draftsman will be responsible to create technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD REVIT software whether 2D and or 3D under supervision of engineering design team

Responsibilities

• Generate detailed technical drawings based on directions and specifications from engineers using AutoCAD and or REVIT
• Modify and revise existing drawings to reflect design changes including site plans zoning drawings access maps and building components
• Reflect field survey data and structural reports into CAD drawings and REVIT models
• Ensure all drawings models are accurate to scale and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Maintain organized project documentation and version control of drawings models
• Produce visual 2D 3D layouts for presentation purposes towards municipalities and landlords client and other stakeholders
• Support the engineering team in BIM coordination and model development where applicable
