Buruoj Engineering Consultant in Jeddah is seeking an Architect to lead design development and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure code-compliant architectural design through all project stages. The role emphasizes Revit BIM workflows, 3D modeling, and coordination with authorities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in an engineering consultancy, and fluent English. This is a full-time, office-based position in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in architectural design and design development.
• Strong proficiency in BIM workflows and coordination across disciplines.
• Solid understanding of the Saudi Building Code and local authority regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs through all project stages from concept to detailed design.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and documentation using Revit within a BIM environment.
• Coordinate with municipalities, local authorities, and other relevant governmental entities for design approvals and permitting.
• Create high-quality 3D models and visual presentations using 3ds Max and SketchUp.
• Ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code and municipal regulations.
• Coordinate work with structural, MEP, and planning teams and participate in design reviews.

We are seeking a qualified Architect with strong experience in design and design development. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.

This is a full-time office-based position, focused on developing architectural designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural designs through all project stages from concept to detailed design.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and documentation using Revit within a BIM environment.
• Coordinate with municipalities, local authorities, and other relevant governmental entities to obtain design approvals, address review comments, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and permitting requirements.
• Create high-quality 3D models and visual presentations using 3ds Max and SketchUp.
• Ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code and relevant municipal regulations.
• Coordinate architectural work with other disciplines including structural, MEP, and planning teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide architectural input to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor design progress and ensure timely delivery in alignment with project schedules.
• Assist in reviewing material submittals, mockups, and architectural detailing.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in architectural design and design development.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination across disciplines.
• Solid understanding of the Saudi Building Code and local authority regulations.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Professional licensure or certification is an advantage.
