Job summary

ABB is seeking a role that supports engineering activities across projects of varying sizes, under the guidance of senior engineers in the Middle East region. The role involves data collection, analyses, and developing technical solutions while ensuring compliance with contracts, quality, safety, and cybersecurity policies.

The work model is hybrid/on-site and requires collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and Business Development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3–5 years of experience with control systems.
• ABB systems experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel domestically/overseas as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic survey work, standard automation engineering tasks and analyses.
• Collect data and support engineering design production.
• Prepare documentation and apply standard methods on assigned tasks.
• Participate in meetings and workshops related to engineering and processes.
• Work on graphic/application engineering development in DCS.
• Program, implement, test and document process control applications.
• Understand control narratives and P&ID drawings.
• Assist in preparing proposals including BOMs and estimated hours.
