Qualifications

• BSc in quantity surveying (or equivalent).
• MRICS preferred, or on path towards this.
• Pre-contract experience in a global consultancy is essential.
• Middle East/GCC experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong technical writing, client-facing and communication skills.

Our Riyadh team are seeking an experienced Associate-level Cost Management professional to join our growing Pre-Contract Cost Management team. This is an opportunity to take a leading role in the delivery of complex, high-profile projects, providing strategic cost advice from project inception, through procurement and contract award.

You will work closely with clients, design teams and senior stakeholders to develop robust cost strategies, manage commercial risk and provide the clarity and confidence clients need to progress projects successfully.

In keeping with Currie & Brown's approach, you'll help deliver certainty through clear advice, sound judgement and data-driven decision making.

As part of your day to day role, you will be:

• Leading projects, both directly and through our technical teams
• Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to our clients
• Managing key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication such that all relevant information is readily available for the successful completion of projects
• Undertaking cost management services with limited supervision
• Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships.

What do you need?:

• BSc in quantity surveying (or equivalent)
• Preferably Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), or on path towards this
• Previous pre-contract experience gained within a global consultancy firm is essential
• Middle East / GCC experience is preferred, but not essential
• Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills
• Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
