Job summary

Aroma City Group is seeking an Assistant Manager Engineering and Smart Asset Management in Riyadh to lead on-site maintenance across MEP and facility assets. You will drive preventive maintenance, supervise four technical teams, and coordinate energy and asset data initiatives.

The role emphasizes CAFM/BMS integration, data-driven asset management, and strong leadership to ensure reliable building operations and safety across the compound facilities.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of engineering facilities maintenance experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Fluent English; Arabic preferred for coordination with workforce and contractors.
• Professional engineering license or asset management training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily maintenance across MEP and civil infrastructure and oversee operations to reduce reactive failures through preventive maintenance.
• Supervise four technical teams: Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, and General Maintenance and ensure safety and task quality.
• Support CAFM and BMS deployment, maintain asset register, and optimize maintenance planning.
• Monitor energy and water usage, support energy audit recommendations and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate on-site contractors and ensure HSSE compliance.

The Assistant Manager Engineering amp Smart Asset Management provides hands‑on technical and supervisory leadership to ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of the Compound s buildings infrastructure utilities and MEP systems This role directly coordinates daily technical operations while actively supporting the transition toward preventive maintenance CAFM BMS-enabled operations energy efficiency and data‑driven asset management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance amp Operations: Direct daily maintenance activities across MEP and civil infrastructure Resolve work orders monitor system performance and reduce reactive failures through preventive maintenance schedules
• Team Supervision: Supervise and deploy four technical teams Electrical Civil Mechanical and General Maintenance Drive team productivity workplace safety discipline and daily task quality
• Smart Asset Management: Support CAFM and BMS implementation maintain an accurate asset register conduct condition assessments and track technical data to optimize maintenance planning
• Energy amp Sustainability: Monitor utility consumption execute water energy efficiency initiatives and assist with energy audit recommendations
• Contractor amp HSSE Oversight: Coordinate on‑site contractors inspect work quality ensure strict adherence to HSSE requirements and partner with the HSSE team to mitigate operational risks

Candidate Qualifications amp Requirements

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Mechatronics Mechanical Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Experience: 5 7 years of engineering facilities maintenance experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Preferred Background: Practical experience in residential compounds hospitality property management or mixed‑use facilities Mechatronics background is a strong plus
• Certifications: Professional engineering license FM Asset Management training or energy management certifications are desirable
• Technical Skills amp Tools: Deep knowledge of MEP systems HVAC plumbing and building infrastructure Practical hands‑on expertise with CAFM CMMS and BMS Building Automation Familiarity with energy audits contractor management and data‑driven IoT maintenance practices
