Job summary

AccorHotel in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Laundry Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensuring professional guest service and smooth uniform handling across departments.

You will partner with Rooms and Food & Beverage to implement uniform programs, develop SOPs, coach the Laundry & Valet team, and manage budgets and inventories.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to shifts in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
• Articulate with strong verbal and written communication.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Willingness to work across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Offer professional, friendly, and engaging guest service.
• Collaborate with Rooms and F&B on uniform programs.
• Develop and revise SOPs for Laundry and Valet.
• Support Laundry during the absence of the Laundry Manager.
• Conduct periodic uniform inventories.
• Manage uniform budgets.
• Ensure timely payroll processing.
• Coach and review Laundry & Valet team performance.
• Coordinate measurements and sizing of colleagues.
• Track uniforms for new hires and enforce return policy.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment.

• Reporting to the Laundry Manager
• responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following
• Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
• Work closely with both the Rooms and Food amp Beverage Divisions to execute their uniform programs
• The ability to present new initiatives to the Senior Management Team
• Creating and revising of Standard Operating Procedures SOP for the Laundry and Valet Departments
• Supporting of the Laundry Department during the absence of the Laundry Manager
• Conducting departmental uniform inventories on a semi-annual basis
• Ordering of Uniforms through the appropriate purchasing structure while maintaining appropriate par levels
• Responsible for maintaining Uniform Budgets
• Ensuring the daily completion of payroll
• Professionally handle guest feedback or concerns with guest laundry program
• Organization of the measuring and sizing of colleagues for uniforms
• Researching analyzing presenting and implementing of new departmental uniforms
• Conducting coaching sessions and performance reviews of Laundry amp Valet Team
• Prepare weekly Wildly Important Goals WIGS with a view to improving areas of main focus with a line of sight to the Hotel Goals
• Assisting the Laundry Manager with the quarterly Linen Inventories
• Conducting monthly communication meetings
• Promoting of Laundry and Valet accomplishments
• Tracking of uniforms for all new hires and implementing an effective return policy
• Maintaining a safe and hazard free work environment
• Previous Supervisory experience is an asset
• Ability to multi-task on a regular basis
• Highly organized and detail orientated
• Strong leadership skills/initiative with the ability to develop strong relationships with fellow colleagues
• Solid background of proven computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Must be flexible and able to do work a variety of shifts.
• Formal education in Hospitality/Tourism an asset.
