Job description

Oversee daily laundry operations ensuring efficient workflow and timely processing of all garments and linens. Manage and train laundry staff, fostering a productive and safe working environment while monitoring performance. Implement and enforce strict quality control standards for washing, drying, pressing, and folding to meet guest and hotel expectations. Maintain inventory of laundry supplies, chemicals, and equipment, placing orders as needed and ensuring optimal stock levels. Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on laundry machinery, coordinating with external technicians for major repairs. Develop and implement staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and managing labor costs effectively. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the laundry department.

Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in supervising a team of laundry personnel. Proficiency in operating various types of industrial laundry equipment and understanding of chemical applications. Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols in a laundry environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management and guest interaction.
