Job summary

Tawazon, a Saudi-based supplier of raw materials, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join its finance team in Riyadh. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, ledger management, reconciliations and compliance to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Accounting and 1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and ledgers.
• Coordinate daily accounting-related operations to support warehouse department activities.
• Manage general ledger entries, ensure journal accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and customer accounts.
• Support payroll processing and inter-department cost allocations.
