Job summary

Alstom in Riyadh invites you to join the Riyadh Metro Project as Asset Data Management Specialist focused on configuration and obsolescence. You’ll ensure accurate asset records, participate in data governance across ERP/CMS platforms and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Day-to-day you’ll manage asset data in IBM Maximo, support SAP data processes, develop dashboards in Power BI, and produce KPI reports to support procurement, engineering and maintenance decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Interest in Asset Management, Configuration Management, or Data Management.
• Knowledge of database concepts and data quality principles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with ERP, EAM, or CMMS systems (SAP, IBM Maximo, etc.) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Asset Data Management: Support creation and maintenance of asset records in IBM Maximo, ensuring data accuracy and configuration details.
• Obsolescence Management: Monitor asset and spare part obsolescence and maintain the Obsolescence Tracker with updates and action plans.
• Material Master Data Management: Support SAP GSI part number creation and extension activities, ensuring data standards.
• Reporting & KPIs: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel to support decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to govern asset data.
• Quality Assurance: Review and verify documents for completeness and accessibility.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the Operation & Maintenance of the Riyadh Metro Project.

You’ll specifically take care of Asset Data including Configuration and Obsolescence, Day-to-day, you'll specifically take care of Asset Data, Configuration, and Obsolescence activities, including but not limited to:

• Asset Data Management: Support the creation and maintenance of asset records in IBM Maximo, ensuring asset information, serial numbers, software versions, and configuration data are accurate and up to date.
• Obsolescence Management: Monitor asset and spare part obsolescence, follow up with Procurement, Engineering, and Design Authority teams, and maintain the Obsolescence Tracker with required updates and action plans.
• Material Master Data Management: Support SAP GSI part number creation and extension activities, ensuring compliance with established data standards and processes.
• Reporting & KPIs: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) using Power BI and Excel to support decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with team members form Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to support asset data governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Quality Assurance: Review and verify documents for completeness and consistency, ensuring that all records are current and accessible.

• University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Interest in Asset Management, Configuration Management, or Data Management
• Knowledge of database concepts and data quality principles
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
• Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Highly self-motivated individual, able to work under your own initiative
• Knowledge of ERP, EAM, or CMMS systems (SAP, IBM Maximo, etc.) is an advantage
• Knowledge of the rail or construction environment and engineering practices is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Good co-ordination and communication skills
