Job summary

Parsons is seeking an architect (Saudi National) to independently perform a wide range of architectural assignments, developing innovative and compliant design solutions while adhering to standards.

You will collaborate with design teams, review drawings, ensure code compliance, and contribute to construction documentation, specifications, and coordination across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture required.
• 1-2 years of related architectural design experience.
• Professional Architect registration/license required.
• Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, and permitting.
• Ability to translate concepts into coordinated construction documents.
• Experience coordinating with Structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct architectural studies, develop design concepts and criteria, and prepare reports.
• Review CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and presentation materials.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Prepare construction specifications and material requisitions, coordinating with suppliers.
• Coordinate architectural work with engineering and construction teams.
• Review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to Architectural Designers and Drafters.
• Apply professional judgment and architectural expertise to develop original design solutions.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Job Description

In this role you will get to independently perform a wide variety of conventional and moderately complex architectural assignments, applying architectural design standards, practices, and techniques to develop innovative and compliant design solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct architectural studies, develop design concepts and design criteria, and prepare related reports.
• Review CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and presentation materials prepared by architectural design teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Prepare construction specifications and detailed material and equipment requisitions, coordinating with suppliers as needed.
• Coordinate architectural work with engineering and construction teams throughout project execution.
• Review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Architectural Designers and Drafters assigned to projects.
• Apply professional judgment and architectural expertise to develop original and practical design solutions.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (or equivalent); Master's Degree is preferred.
• 1-2 years of related architectural design experience.
• Professional Architect registration/license is required.
• Working knowledge of architectural design standards, practices, techniques, and industry concepts.
• Strong understanding of building systems integration, construction methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Proficiency in CAD/BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD, as well as other standard design tools.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.
• Ability to develop design concepts and translate them into coordinated construction documentation.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary consultants, including Structural, MEP, and specialty disciplines.
• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and construction administration processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing defined project scopes.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and organizational skills.
