CDHORIZON Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced accounting professional to handle accounts payable, expense control and cost analysis for our equipment rental operations in Riyadh. The role emphasizes procurement-to-payment processes, expense classification and monthly closings.

The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 3–6 years in AP or cost accounting and be proficient in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, along with strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in AP, cost accounting, expense control or general accounting.
• Experience in equipment rental, construction, logistics, industrial services or project-based businesses is preferred.
• Good understanding of procurement-to-payment processes.
• Strong awareness of cost control and financial risks.
• Able to analyze abnormal expenses instead of only processing transactions.
• Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail.
• ERP experience such as SAP, Oracle or similar systems is preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with Procurement and Operations teams.

Responsabilités

• Review procurement, expense and payment documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, proper approval and compliance with company policies.
• Manage accounts payable and expense accounting related to the equipment rental business, including logistics and transportation, repair and maintenance services, outsourced labor, subcontracting and other operating expenses.
• Ensure expenses are correctly classified, accrued and recorded in the proper accounting period and cost center/project.
• Review the reasonableness of expenses against contracts, purchase orders, service records, quotations and approval documents.
• Identify unusual, duplicate, excessive or non-standard expenses and perform further analysis when necessary.
• Provide management alerts and analysis on abnormal cost movements, significant variances and potential control issues.
• Support monthly closing, AP reconciliation, expense accruals and cost analysis.
• Work with Procurement, Operations and other departments to improve expense control, documentation standards and payment processes.
• Assist in developing and improving expense approval procedures, accounting guidelines and internal controls.
