Job summary

Hill International (Middle East) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a significant airport substation project in Dammam. The successful candidate will oversee PMC activities, ensuring compliance with standards and effective project execution across several disciplines.

With a background in electrical power infrastructure and a minimum of 15 years of experience, you will manage project scope, schedule, and stakeholder interactions while leading technical reviews and ensuring safety compliance throughout the project's lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in Electrical Power Infrastructure Projects.
• Minimum 10 years in Project Management or PMC roles.
• 5 years in the Airport major projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMC activities for airport substation and MV network modernization projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and stakeholder coordination.
• Review and approve project execution plans and procurement strategies.

Skills

Experience with 69kV, 34.5kV and 13.8kV substations

Airport electrical infrastructure

SEC utility projects

Transmission and distribution systems

SCADA and automation systems

Proven experience delivering EPC/LSTK substation projects above 34.5kV

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

Master’s degree in Power Systems Engineering preferred

Professional certifications: Saudi Council of Engineers Registration

PMP Certification preferred

PE/Chartered Engineer preferred
