Job summary

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented HSE Inspector to join our airport team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all airport operations and conduct systematic inspections.

You will identify hazards, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions while coordinating with department heads to improve safety programs and train personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of HSE inspection experience in airport operations or aviation environments.
• Aviation experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia HSE regulations and international aviation safety standards.
• Proven expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety management systems.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to investigate complex safety incidents.
• Excellent documentation and technical report writing abilities.
• Proficiency in HSE audit procedures and inspection methodologies.
• Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of airport operations, ground handling, and aviation safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in HSE management software and MS Office applications.
• Professional certification in HSE (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience with safety management system implementation and auditing preferred.
• Ability to mentor and train operational staff on HSE best practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive HSE inspections and audits across airport facilities (terminals, cargo areas, hangars, ground operations).
• Identify, document, and analyze hazards in line with Saudi and international standards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and preventive actions.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies across airport operations.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop safety improvement programs.
• Conduct safety training sessions for airport personnel.
• Maintain organized records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Monitor effectiveness of safety measures and drive continuous improvement.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during reviews.
