Job summary

Thoughtworks, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Experience Designer to join our Riyadh team. You will drive end-to-end design for AI-powered products, collaborating with product managers, data/AI specialists, and engineers to ship solutions.

You will shape agentic UX, apply trust and transparency principles, and leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation while maintaining craft and usability. Hybrid work arrangement and regional capability building are key.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product design with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design quality, strong UX reasoning, fast concept-to-prototype capability, and end-to-end ownership of shipped digital products.
• Proven track record of leading design on large-scale programs, 0-1 product launches and navigating senior stakeholder groups.
• Expertise in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, and rapid prototyping, utilising lean approaches to validate desirability, viability, and feasibility.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design Ownership: Lead experience design across all engagement phases and create prototypes alongside engineering.
• AI-Native & Agentic UX: Shape conversational and multi-modal flows with trust and transparency.
• AI-Accelerated Practice: Leverage AI tools to accelerate research without sacrificing craft.
• Lean User Research & Testing: Conduct lightweight research for rapid sprints, ensuring accessibility and validation from day one.
• Design Systems & Scalability: Build and govern design systems with engineering for consistency.
• Consultative Leadership & Advisory: Advise clients on AI-native product experiences and pre-sales engagements.
• Practice Building & Culture: Help grow local Experience Design capability and client relationships in the region.
