Job summary

Lucidya | لوسيديا is hiring an AI Tech Lead to own the AI architecture of the Agentic Platform. You will write production code, lead a small team of AI engineers, and set technical direction while ensuring reliability and quality.

You will mentor engineers, drive evaluation pipelines, and collaborate with Product on turning customer use cases into scalable AI features. The role blends hands-on delivery with leadership in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years in software or ML engineering, including 2+ years building production LLM apps.
• Technical leadership: led a team of 3+ AI engineers/scientists.
• LLM application engineering: deep hands-on with prompting, guardrails, and agent patterns.
• Production engineering: strong Python, APIs, cloud deployment, observability, distributed systems.
• Communication: fluent English, clear design docs and decision records.
• Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations and gate releases with evaluation pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own AI architecture and harness; set technical direction and write production code.
• Lead the AI team in designing, developing, and delivering the Agentic Platform.
• Mentor engineers, raise technical bar, and contribute to hiring.
• Implement rigorous testing, production monitoring, and online evaluations.
• Debug critical incidents and validate new capabilities through prototypes.
• Collaborate with Product to translate customer use cases into technical requirements.
