Job summary

Saudi Azm عزم السعودية is seeking a senior AI/ML platform engineer to build and scale production LLM systems. The role covers end-to-end development, from model fine-tuning with QLoRA/LoRA to rigorous evaluation and production deployment.

You will design reproducible benchmarks, implement safety guardrails, and lead a cloud/AI operations team ensuring high availability, observability, and compliant delivery across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6–8+ years in software, DevOps, or platform engineering, incl. 2+ years in applied AI/ML.
• Proven delivery of production AI/LLM systems — not only research.
• Strong Python; comfortable with Bash and YAML.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and Terraform.
• Production experience with at least one major cloud (Azure preferred; OCI or GCP acceptable).
• Ownership of CI/CD at scale (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and GitOps release models.
• Experience leading a team and setting engineering standards across multiple squads.

Responsibilities

• Build, fine-tune, and evaluate LLM systems for domain-specific tasks (QLoRA / PEFT on open-weight models).
• Design reproducible evaluation harnesses and A/B test frameworks with tracked metrics.
• Architect multi-agent and RAG systems from prototype through production.
• Implement safety guardrails and controls to reduce high-risk model actions.
• Translate business use cases into deployable prototypes and demo to stakeholders.
