Job summary

Envision Employment Solutions, LLC is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop and support enterprise AI across multiple use cases in a production environment. You will work on conversational assistants, retrieval and grounding, and validation controls to ensure accurate, trustworthy answers.

Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, architects and business SMEs while delivering production-ready AI components and reusable platform services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering generative AI, ML or conversational AI solutions.
• Strong Python skills; experience with APIs, structured data, retrieval techniques and model evaluation.
• Experience with Azure AI and data services, or equivalent enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of security, access control, logging, monitoring and responsible AI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build AI assistants across multiple use cases in a programme.
• Implement conversational querying, retrieval, grounding, evidence presentation and agent orchestration.
• Integrate AI components with enterprise data platforms, APIs and knowledge sources.
• Build controls to validate generated answers and reduce unsupported responses.

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an AI/ML Engineer for one of our partners, an IT Services and IT Consulting company.

THE ROLE

The AI/ML Engineer designs, develops, tests and supports enterprise AI and machine learning solutions across a programme running several use cases in parallel. The work covers conversational assistants, retrieval and grounding, analytical capabilities, agent workflows and the validation controls that keep answers accurate and trustworthy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build AI assistants across the programme’s parallel use cases
• Implement conversational querying, retrieval, grounding, evidence presentation and agent orchestration
• Integrate AI components with approved enterprise data platforms, APIs and knowledge sources
• Build controls that validate generated answers and reduce unsupported responses
• Contribute to shared AI platform components and reusable services
• Support testing, benchmarking, UAT, controlled deployment, technical documentation and knowledge transfer
• Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, architects and business subject matter experts

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of experience, with hands on delivery of generative AI, machine learning or conversational AI solutions
• Strong Python skills, plus experience with APIs, structured data, retrieval techniques and model evaluation
• Experience with Azure AI and data services, or equivalent enterprise platforms
• Understanding of security, access control, logging, monitoring and responsible AI requirements
• Nice to have: Databricks, ADLS, Azure AI services or Azure AI Foundry; natural language querying over structured data; RAG, agent orchestration, evidence binding and LLM evaluation; production deployment of enterprise AI solutions
