Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of experience in digital learning, competency management, or related functions.
- Experience in competency or digital capability programs within large projects/environments.
- Strong knowledge of AI, Generative AI, data analytics, automation, and digital learning platforms.

The AI Learning Specialist will help build the digital capabilities required for increasingly technology-driven project delivery and Quality Management. Working with the Competency Program Manager, Quality teams, Digital Transformation specialists, IT, discipline leaders, and project stakeholders, the position will translate emerging AI capabilities into structured competency requirements and practical learning programs. The role combines workforce development with technology adoption, ensuring personnel can use AI, analytics, automation, digital platforms, and modern knowledge systems effectively and responsibly.
- Develop and implement AI and Digital Competency Frameworks for Quality professionals and relevant project personnel.
- Define digital competency requirements according to project roles, technical responsibilities, systems, applications, and future capability needs.
- Conduct structured AI and digital skills assessments to identify current competency levels and development gaps.
- Build and maintain role-based competency matrices and digital capability profiles.
- Design AI-focused learning and development programs for Quality Engineers, Inspectors, Auditors, managers, and supporting project personnel.
- Identify practical applications of Artificial Intelligence, automation, data analytics, and digital tools within Quality Management processes.
- Create learning pathways covering AI awareness, Generative AI, data literacy, automation, digital collaboration, and technology-enabled Quality workflows.
- Develop digital training materials, interactive learning modules, reference guides, knowledge resources, and AI-assisted learning content.
- Evaluate emerging AI platforms and digital technologies for potential use in project Quality and competency management.
- Support adoption of AI-assisted tools for document review, Quality reporting, trend analysis, knowledge retrieval, and lessons-learned management.
- Develop learning solutions delivered through Learning Management Systems, e-learning platforms, virtual learning environments, and other digital channels.
- Establish competency assessment methods using online testing, practical evaluations, simulations, scenario-based exercises, and technology-supported assessments.
- Measure the effectiveness of AI and digital learning initiatives and recommend adjustments based on performance evidence.
- Develop dashboards showing training completion, competency assessment results, development progress, capability gaps, and program effectiveness.
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure learning content remains technically accurate and relevant to project requirements.
- Establish and maintain a Digital Competency and Training Register.
- Monitor mandatory digital learning requirements and follow up overdue competency development activities.
- Support Quality teams during implementation of new applications, digital systems, collaborative platforms, and technology-enabled workflows.
- Identify repetitive manual activities that could be improved through process automation or AI-assisted solutions.
- Help develop digital Quality templates, tools, workflows, knowledge repositories, and standardized resources.
- Analyze Quality performance data to identify recurring issues, trends, competency deficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Connect digital competency information with Quality performance indicators to identify where training or technology intervention can improve outcomes.
- Support integration of AI, analytics, and digital learning insights into broader Quality improvement programs.
- Develop structured digital knowledge libraries containing procedures, technical guidance, lessons learned, reference materials, and project best practices.
- Promote active knowledge sharing and encourage appropriate adoption of new technologies across the Quality Division.
- Support preparation of annual AI and digital competency development plans.
- Produce management reports covering capability status, training performance, AI adoption, implementation progress, and improvement actions.
- Establish and monitor AI and Digital Competency KPIs.
- Provide training and competency evidence during internal, client, consultant, or external audits.
- Ensure digital learning initiatives comply with organizational policies, information security requirements, project procedures, and applicable data governance principles.
- Promote responsible AI use by reinforcing human review, verification, data protection, and appropriate validation of AI-generated outputs.
- Research emerging technologies and assess their potential value to Quality Management, workforce development, reporting, and project performance.
- Capture lessons learned from digital competency initiatives and continuously improve learning content, assessment methods, and technology adoption approaches.
- Bachelor 's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Quality Management, Business Administration, or another relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience involving digital learning, competency management, digital transformation, Quality Assurance, technology-enabled training, or related functions.
- Proven involvement in competency or digital capability programs within major airport, infrastructure, construction, engineering, or large-scale project environments.
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, digital learning platforms, data analytics, automation, and technology-enabled workforce development.
- Practical experience developing competency frameworks, skills assessments, role profiles, learning pathways, and structured development programs.
- Good understanding of Quality Management Systems and their application within project delivery environments.
- AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI certification from a recognized provider is expected.
- Digital Transformation or Digital Learning certification would be valuable.
- Learning and Development, Instructional Design, or Learning Management System certification is preferred.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is advantageous.
- Professional Quality certification such as CQE, CQA, or equivalent would strengthen the candidate profile.
- PMP or an equivalent project management credential is beneficial.
- Strong ability to translate technical AI concepts into practical learning content suitable for different workforce groups.
- Comfortable interpreting training data, competency metrics, Quality performance information, and adoption trends.
- Able to engage technical specialists, Quality professionals, IT teams, managers, and project stakeholders with different levels of digital maturity.
- Strong awareness of responsible AI, privacy, cybersecurity, data governance, and human validation requirements.
