Job summary

Maaden Saudi Arabian Mining Company seeks an experienced leader to guide advanced data science and analytics initiatives. You will translate business problems into scalable analytic solutions, develop ML models, and drive decision intelligence across enterprise domains.

Collaborate with AI engineers, data platform teams, and stakeholders to embed analytics in autonomous or semi-autonomous workflows while ensuring governance, transparency, and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years experience in data science, advanced analytics, ML, AI delivery, or data product development.
• Experience with agentic AI, generative AI, MLOps, responsible AI, cloud data platforms or enterprise analytics environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate business priorities into clear data science problem statements and measurable outcomes.
• Design and deliver predictive, prescriptive, diagnostic, and exploratory analytics solutions for decision-making.
• Develop ML models, statistical analyses, simulations, optimization approaches, and analytics products.
• Ensure outputs are interpretable, actionable, and aligned with governance requirements.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data engineers, and stakeholders to embed analytics into workflows.
• Define evaluation approaches for AI-enabled insights, model performance, and business impact.
• Create reusable analytical assets, data patterns, and decision intelligence products.
• Maintain documentation covering assumptions, data sources, model logic, and controls.
