Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an Asset Suppression Team Leader to lead the Asset Suppression Team in Taif, focusing on optimising asset control and improving fleet availability for the RSAF Typhoon programme through data‑driven mitigations and proactive risk reduction.

You will manage team resources and training, coordinate with RSAF, MODSAP, and UK support organisations, provide regular status reports, and contribute to engineering life cycle management and lessons learned for future

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in operational support, aviation or defence environments with analytical skills.
• Qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC or Part 66 Category C or equivalent, plus recognition of a maintenance traineeship.
• Leadership experience supervising personnel at all levels.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in Typhoon fleet support, maintenance planning or operational sustainment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Asset Suppression Team to optimise asset management and sustain fleet availability across the RSAF Typhoon programme.
• Identify mitigations to reduce asset criticality and improve asset and platform performance.
• Oversee resource allocation, task planning, prioritisation and delivery of leadership duties.
• Ensure compliance with SHE requirements and accurate reporting of incidents.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with RSAF customers, MODSAP, PC teams and Typhoon core programme personnel.
• Provide regular reporting on findings, status, achievements and performance indicators.
• Support Taif Operational and Management Reviews with data, analysis and recommendations.
• Contribute to Engineering and Life Cycle Management activities and lessons learned for future contracts.
