Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Riyadh region seeks an experienced accounting professional to supervise daily accounting activities including AP, AR, GL, invoicing, payments and reconciliations. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial processes and support accurate reporting.

The role involves reviewing invoices, preparing bank and ledger reconciliations, assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual closings, and producing MIS reports and management summaries while complying with Saudi VAT and

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities including AP, AR, GL, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Review and verify invoices, payment requests, expense claims, and supporting documents.
• Prepare and review bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely settlements and collections.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and management summaries.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with procurement, HR, payroll, commercial, and project teams regarding financial transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and cost-control activities.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT, ZATCA requirements, and applicable accounting standards.
• Coordinate with external/internal auditors and provide required documents and schedules.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate filing of financial records.
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
