Job summary

Pharma Pharmaceutical Industries & Biological Products in Riyadh seeks an Accounts Manager to steer accounting functions and ensure IFRS/SOCPA compliant financial reporting for a manufacturing environment.

The role oversees monthly closings, VAT and Zakat obligations, audits, and a team of accountants, with emphasis on internal controls and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Arabic and English proficiency required, with 8–10 years of experience and professional certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, CMA, ACCA preferred.
• 8–10 years of accounting/finance experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Saudi VAT, Zakat, withholding tax and e-invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank, intercompany, AR/AP, and balance sheet accounts.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory & Cost Accounting, and Fixed Assets.
• Coordinate VAT returns and Zakat declarations and e-invoicing compliance.
• Coordinate the external audit process.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team.

Accounts Manager

Finance Sector – Accounting

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the Company's accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, timeliness, and compliance of financial records and reports in accordance with IFRS as endorsed by SOCPA, applicable ZATCA requirements, and the Company's policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process.


• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS as endorsed by SOCPA.


• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank, intercompany, receivable, payable and balance-sheet accounts.


• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory & Cost Accounting, and Fixed Assets.


• Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT returns and the annual Zakat declaration, and compliance with e-invoicing (Fatoora) requirements.


• Coordinate the annual external audit.


• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.


• Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.


• 8–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.


• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with pharmaceutical industry experience considered an advantage.


• Hands‑on experience with Saudi VAT, Zakat, withholding tax, and e‑invoicing requirements.


• Practical experience with ERP financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
