Job summary

Jobstronaut is seeking an experienced Accountant in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, to manage financial operations in line with local regulations and IFRS. You will handle ledgers, VAT/compliance, and cost control while supporting procurement and production teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing/industrial automation, proficiency in Tally, SAP and QuickBooks, and strong Excel skills. Saudi VAT/WHT knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance (CPA, CMA, or SOCPA preferred).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial automation company in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi VAT and WHT regulations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions.
• Maintain ledgers, journals and trial balances per Saudi GAAP/IFRS.
• Monitor project costs and overheads.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable management.
• Manage vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Follow up on client payments and aging reports.
• Taxation & Compliance: VAT, WHT, ZATCA compliance.
• Assist auditors during internal/external audits and financial reviews.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flows.
• Liaise with banks for transactions, LCs and bank guarantees.
• Inventory & Cost Control: coordinate with stores/production for stock valuation and material costing.
• Prepare monthly MIS, profit & loss statements, and management reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Client is seeking a skilled Accountant to manage our financial operations in accordance with local regulations and international standards.

The Accountant will be responsible for handling financial records, managing VAT and compliance, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting procurement and operational teams with cost and expense management. The ideal candidate should have experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector in Saudi Arabia and be well-versed in local financial regulations and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, and expenses.
• Maintain ledgers, journals, and trial balances in accordance with Saudi GAAP / IFRS.
• Monitor control panel project costs and overheads.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Manage vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Follow up on client payments, maintain aging reports, and manage collections.
• Taxation & Compliance
• Ensure timely filing of VAT returns and compliance with ZATCA regulations.
• Assist in Zakat filing, WHT, and other local statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal/external audits and financial reviews.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flows.
• Liaise with banks for transactions, LCs, and bank guarantees.
• Inventory & Cost Control
