Job summary

Eventive Group is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bring extensive accounting experience, preferably in events, exhibitions, or project-based work, with strong costing, pricing review, and profitability analysis.

You will manage day-to-day accounting, review budgets and quotations, monitor costs, revenues, and margins, and ensure strict internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience; events, exhibitions, production, or project-based industries preferred.
• Strong experience in project costing and pricing analysis.
• Excellent understanding of accounting procedures and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Review event/project costs, budgets, quotations, and pricing to ensure accuracy and profitability.
• Analyze project costing and monitor actual costs against approved budgets.
• Review supplier quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and payment requests.
• Verify the financial accuracy of event-related proposals and pricing before submission.
• Monitor project revenues, expenses, margins, and profitability.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and supporting documentation for all transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial records.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, cost reports, and management analysis.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Production, and Project Teams on financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures, policies, and applicable accounting requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Identify financial discrepancies, cost overruns, and areas for cost optimization.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure proper approval processes.

Ability to review quotations and assess costs, margins, and profitability.

Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.

Experience with accounting/ERP systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Saudi Arabia experience is preferred.

Transferable Iqama / valid work authorization is preferred.

Ability to work according to business and event schedules when required.
