Job summary

Sofitel in Saudi Arabia is seeking an AC Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems for a hotel environment. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and replace components to ensure reliable operation and air quality.

Strong teamwork and guest-satisfaction focus are essential. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HVAC maintenance in hospitality or large commercial settings; ITI/HVAC/Refrigeration certification is preferred, with Maldives resort experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience in a hotel, resort, or large commercial environment.
• Technical certification (ITI/HVAC/Refrigeration Engineering) preferred.
• Professional communication, teamwork, and commitment to guest satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to avoid system breakdowns.
• Replace or repair defective parts such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
• Test electrical circuits and components for safety and efficiency.
• Clean and inspect air filters, coils, and other components to maintain air quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
• Coordinate with other technicians and departments to complete tasks efficiently.
