Education
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As an English-speaking dental office, we prefer candidates who are fluent in both English and Hindi or other Indian languages. This is a full-time position, and we welcome applications from candidates without prior experience, as on-the-job training will be provided.
- Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and materials as needed
- Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Maintaining patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and consent forms
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the office
- Ordering and maintaining dental supplies inventory
- Indian nationality preferred due to language requirements
- Fluent in English with proficiency in Hindi or other Indian languages
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification as a Dental Assistant is a plus
- Familiarity with dental terminology, instruments, and equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Must have own visa/residency permit for employment
