Job summary

A reputable marine services company in Qatar is seeking a Cathodic Protection Technician responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining cathodic protection systems for subsea pipelines and marine facilities. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in marine/offshore CP systems, familiarity with subsea surveys, and relevant safety certifications. This role involves working closely with divers and ROV teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and preparing comprehensive reports.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine/offshore CP systems.
  • Familiarity with subsea anode replacement and ROV-assisted inspections.
  • Middle East/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and troubleshoot ICCP/SACP systems.
  • Conduct subsea anode surveys, retrofit installations, and cable repairs.
  • Monitor T/R units, reference electrodes, and anode sleds.
  • Perform close interval potential surveys, depolarization tests.
  • Collect and analyze corrosion rate data for reporting.
